The 2002 World Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers will return to Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex starting at 8:30 AM on Friday, July 27, 2007, to prepare for the grueling 2007 NFL season. Bucs training camp will run until mid-August.

Most days of training camp, including the first eight, will feature both morning and afternoon workouts (“two-a-days”). Morning workouts usually begin around 8:30 AM and afternoon practice begins at 2:45 PM. Most of the workouts last approximately two-and-a-half hours. The Bucs will hold their first practice in pads on Sunday, July 29, 2007. The preseason opener is scheduled for August 10, 2007, against the New England Patriots.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers practices are open to the public and admission is free. At the end of most practices, a rotating group of Bucs players sign autographs in the stands. Jon Gruden is currently the head coach of the Tampa Bay Bucs, which have been holding training camp at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex since 2002.

“Many Tampa Bay Buccaneer fans combine a Bucs workout or two with a trip to one of Disney World’s theme parks – Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios or Disney’s Animal Kingdom,” said Kyle Collins, Director of Interactive Marketing for HotelsCorp.com. “If you plan on checking out one of the Disney World theme parks while in town for Bucs training camp, make sure to shop for discount hotels near Disney and theme park tickets online before you arrive in Orlando.”

Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex lies West of Interstate 4 and South of Osceola Parkway. From Orlando, take I-4 West to Exit 65 (Osceola Parkway West). Take Osceola Parkway to Victory Way and turn left. Continue to Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex.
