Walt Disney World® Resort closed all of its Downtown Disney® Pleasure Island nightclubs recently to create a “new family friendly environment.” BET Soundstage Club, Mannequins Dance Palace, 8Trax, The Comedy Warehouse, Adventurer’s Club and Motion all closed on September 28, 2008, to make room for a new Pleasure Island venue full of restaurants and specialty shops. Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant and Sosa Family Cigars will remain open at Downtown Disney® Pleasure Island.
