Highlights: One of South Florida’s most unique parks, Deering Estate at Cutler is an “environmental, archaeological, historical and architectural preserve” that encompasses 450 acres. Highlights include Indian burial grounds, various historic buildings and the 1922 Mediterranean Revival-style winter estate of famous industrialist Charles Deering. Guided tours of the property, as well as guided canoe trips to Chicken Key, are available.
